Our Vision Statement
V. Artisan and Craft Center
A truly low impact minimal input system requires creating goods from raw or reused materials. Thus members will need to create things with their hands. We will need glass blowing, pottery, spinning and weaving, metal working, wood working, stone masonry and many more skills. As we recruit people who have these skills, or members acquire them through study and practice, these will be incorporated into village commerce and outreach. Open air markets will be held where artisans and craftsfolk practice their craft and display their wares for sale. When developed the artisan community could initiate and/or support a folk school.
