IV. Housing
Housing is likely to include apartments, guest quarters, live/work studios, and private residences. Structures should be extremely energy efficient and preferably made from locally available natural resources and waste products where possible. Straw, clay, locally and sustainably harvested wood, and recycled materials are some items that we hope to employ. Resource acquisition techniques such as rain water collection, composting toilets, gray water recovery, and passive solar design will be implemented as they make sense. We may also actively harness wind, water, and solar energy if needed.
